Freddie H. Brockmeyer, 73 of Scott City died November 25, 2013 at his home. He was born August 29, 1940 in St. Louis County, MO to Herman and Margaret Meyer Brockmeyer. He married Sue Kinder on January 28, 1961 in Scott City, MO. Freddie was a floor installer and maintenance man for Scott City Apartments. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City and V.F. W. Post 6407 in Scott City. He attended Notre Dame High School. He was a veteran of U.S. Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Sue; two daughters, Debbie (Eddie) Wasson and Kristy (David) Johnson all of Scott City; two grandchildren, Farrell (Jessica) Wasson and Nicole Johnson both of Scott City; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Joe Brockmeyer of Arnold, MO and Paul Brockmeyer of Scott City; two sisters, Edna (Russell) Anderson of Scott City and Rosie (Leroy) Dreyer of Longtown. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish Prayer service will be at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City with Rev. Oliver Clavin as celebrant.
