George Mcfall

George McFall, 87, of Horn Lake, MS., formerly of Scott City, died Saturday, December 14, 2013. He was born October 23, 1926 in Illmo to Frank and Lula Burton McFall. George and Margaret Woolsey were married September 9, 1949 and she preceded him in death on December 22, 2007. He worked as a plate inspector for Caterpillar Tractor and was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force. Survivors include a daughter, Melba Skaggs of Hernando, MS; three sons, Dennis McFall of Horn Lake, MS, George McFall Jr. of Olive Branch, MS, and Robert Wilson of Salem, MO; three sisters, Kathryn Haney and Patty Rogers both of Dexter, Imogene Mansker of Allenville; a brother, Jerry McFall of Dexter ; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a son, 2 grandchildren, one brother and two sisters. Visitation will be from noon until time of service Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Funeral service will be at 1 PM, Tuesday at the chapel. Burial with full military rites will be at Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
