Wilma A. McGuire, 89, of Chaffee, MO died Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born January 8, 1924, in Chaffee, MO, daughter of the late Clinton & Marcella Scherer Littlepage. She married Charlie "Mac" McGuire and he preceded her in death on September 1, 1967. She retired from Chaffee General Hospital as a Ward Clerk. She had a passion for sewing and hand quilting. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and the Ladies VFW Auxiliary in Chaffee. Survivors include three sons, Ronald McGuire of Puxico, MO, Richard McGuire, Mark McGuire both of Chaffee, MO; one daughter, Paula K. White of Perryville, MO; one brother, Paul Ray Littlepage of Chicago, IL.; two sisters, Alma Schlitt of Oran, MO, Clifta (Tip) Cartwright of St. Louis, MO; 10 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by one brother, C.J. "Sonny" Littlepage; two sisters, Rosemary Fussell and Anna "Midge" Wortham; one grandson, Robert Fann; one great-granddaughter, Kaile Elizabeth Hall; one step-grandchild, Angela Kennedy. A funeral mass will be held at 10a.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant. Burial will be at a later date. Amick Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of the arrangements.
