Robert H. Ogden, 78, of Morley, MO died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born July 26, 1935, in Cole Hill, AR, to the late James Everett and Mary Keel Ogden. He married Wanda Bennett on August 11, 1990 and she survives. Robert served in the United States Navy for four years. He owned and operated Ogden Trucking in Morley. After he sold his trucking company he drove a truck for Agri-Trans Trucking Co. in Cape Girardeau. Survivors include his wife, Wanda, of the home; one son, Robert E. (Robin) Ogden of Morehouse, MO; one grandson that he raised, Ryan Ogden of New Hamburg, MO; five daughters, Anita (Bob) Evans of Cardwell, MO, Karen (Frank) Fowler Grass of Jackson, MO, Cindy (Kevin) Armstrong of Jackson, MO, Vickie (Chester) Stroud of Poplar Bluff, MO, Robyn (Clay) Hill of Blodgett, MO; one step son, William "Junior" (Stephanie) Bennett of Chaffee, MO; three step daughters, Debra (Jim) Green of Cape Girardeau, MO, Aleshia (Fran) Bader of Scott City, MO, Tonyua (Jon) Townsend of Cape Girardeau, MO; two sisters, Mary Glen of Millington, TN, Ann Snyder of Glendale, MO; fifteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; eight step great-grandchildren and two step great-great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and one grandson. Friends may call after 4p.m., Friday, January 17, 2014 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral services will be held at 10a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the chapel with Rev. Jim Eskew officiating assisted by Rev. David Thompson. Burial will follow at New Morley Cemetery in Morley, MO.
