Dennis Frank Barbeau, Sr., 66 of McClure, IL died January 23, 2014 at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston, MO. He was born February 23, 1947 in St. Louis, MO to Elmer Henry and Alma Marie Buckley Barbeau. He married Kathy Gail Davis on July 12, 1989 in Dyersburg, TN. He was a Federal Food and Drug Administration grain inspector with Bunge Corporation and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was of the Catholic Faith. He is survived by his wife, Kathy of Washington, Penn.; three sons, Dennis Barbeau, Jr. of Sikeston, Shaun Davis of McClure, IL and Wendell Hood of Killeen, TX; five daughters, Chelsea Collins of Washington, Penn., Tammy Thompson of Salem, MO., Tina Sellers of East Alton, IL., Tonya Ramsey of Washington, PA and Susan Flatter of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, Bill Barbeau and Norman (Mary) Barbeau of Cape Girardeau; a half-brother, Eugene Martin of Bellville, IL; three sisters, Shirley (Gale) Stoops of Troy, IL, Linda (David) Houser and Ruth (Gary) Cornett both of New Athens, IL and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a grandchild. There will be no services.
