Thomas Carroll

Thomas Carroll, 72, of Kelso, Mo., died January 26, 2014 at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He was born October 21, 1941 at Illmo, Mo., the son of Silas T. and Goldia Thompson Carroll. He married Janet Litzler on June 7, 2002. Thomas served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Cape Elk's. He worked as the produce manager at Bob's Foodliner in Scott City. Survivors include his wife; 3 sons, Rodney (Vicki) Carroll and Rusty (Paula) Carroll of Scott City and Scott (Becky) Carroll of Benton; six step-kids, Laura Greenwood of Dexter, Mo., Tina (Darren) Smith of Somerville, Tex. Paul David Kenkel of Kelso, Tony (Bonnie) Kenkel of Littler Rock, Ark., Joey (Debbie) Kenkel of Leander, Tex., and Debbie (John) Gohn of Jackson, Mo.; one sister, Delores Meredith of St. Louis, Mo.; 8 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Randy Carroll. Friends may call Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 9-11:00 a.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel with Rev. Jack Cathcart officiating.
