David Dee Ellis

David Dee Ellis, 46 of Scott City died Thursday, February 6, 2014 at his home. He was born March 7, 1967 in Dexter, MO to Illa Dee and Myra L. Cates Ellis. David was a lineman for Charter Cable Co and had previously worked as a police officer for Scott City Police Dept. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his mother, Myra Ellis of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Christina Ellis of Paducah, KY, Lacey (Brian) Greer of Chaffee and Kelsey (Keith) Brown of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Nataleigh, Kolten and Mollie. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 10, 2014 at the chapel with Rev. Tom Kiefer officiating. Burial will be at Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors.
