Katherine Lanora Eldridge

Katherine Lanora Eldridge, 74 of Scott City died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born August 7, 1939 to Alva Lester and Dorothy Mae Green Sebright. She was a sales clerk at Wal-Mart in Cape Girardeau and also worked as a custodian for Southeast Missouri State University. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City and St. Marks Chapter 167 Eastern Star. She is survived by a son, Rodney (Beth) Eldridge of Benton and two grandsons, William and Clayton Eldridge. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Billie Goddard and Margaret Hamm. She loved her grandsons, greeting people at Wal-Mart and was an avid hunter. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday, February 14, 2014 at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the chapel with Rev. Jeremy Sells officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
