Hubert Scott Burton Sr.

Hubert Scott Burton Sr., age 58, of Chaffee, MO passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 at the family home in Chaffee, MO. He was born on December 29, 1955 in Dexter, MO to the late Herbert Scott and Mary Loretta Edwards Burton. He married Sheila Brashears on July 11, 1986 and she survives. Hubert was owner and operator of Rightway Pest Control in Chaffee, MO. He was a member of the Chaffee Elks Lodge #1810. He is survived by his wife, Sheila, of the home; two sons, Jason (fiancé Kim Dodge) Burton of St. Louis, MO, Scott (Misty) Burton of Advance, MO; three grandchildren, Sarah and Katie Burton, Ashley McPherson; one brother, Steve Burton of Morley, MO; three sisters, Karen Coram of Lowndes, MO, Debbie Essner of Jackson, MO and Lorie Daniels of Lowndes, MO. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Linda Scott. Friends may call after 4p.m., Monday, February 17, 2014 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO. Elks Service will be held at 6:30PM, Monday, February 17, 2014. Funeral service will be held at 10a.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the chapel with Rev. Gary Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley, MO.
