Janice Kaye Hunter

Janice Kaye Hunter, age 66, of Chaffee, MO passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born on January 12, 1948 in Cape Girardeau, MO to the late Cletis Izer and Thelma D. Gobble Hendrix. She married "Jim" Hunter Jr. on November 29, 1974 and he survives. Janice retired from Chaffee Head Start. She was a member of Chaffee General Baptist Church in Chaffee, MO. She is survived by her husband, Jim, of the home; two daughters, Laura Perdue of Adelaide, AUS; Amanda (Jim) Dooley of Chaffee, MO; three grandchildren, Olivia and Bryce Horrell, Will Hunter all of Chaffee, MO and one sister Anna Lee Morgan of Poplar Bluff, MO. Friends may call from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Chaffee General Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the church with Rev. Bob Lewis officiating. A private burial will be held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Children's Cup, P.O. Box 400 Praireville, LA 70769 Attn: Jerry Holte Acct Mandahla. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
