Carolyn Jane Schwettman

Carolyn Jane Schwettman, 70 of Cape Girardeau, MO crossed over to meet the love of her life on March 11, 2014 at Baptist Hospital East in Memphis, TN. She was born September 22, 1943 in Liberty, Kansas to Teddie LeRoy and Ruby Mae Snodgrass Routon. She married Jimmie Don Schwettman on March 16, 1963 in Cape Girardeau, MO. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2010. She was the owner/operator of Carol-Cyns Fashions in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was a member of Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City. She is survived by a daughter, Cyndi Schutt of Memphis, TN; a brother, Doyle W. (Colleen) Routon of Nickerson, NE; her sister and constant companion, Sharon (John) Niswonger of Scott City, MO; two grandchildren, Chelsea & Clayton Schutt and a great grandchild, Julia Schutt. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday, March 14, 2014 at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Chapel with Revs. Marty Hasz and Paul Short officiating. Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 17, 2014 at Heim Cemetery in Dawson, NE. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Carolyn's memory to Humane Society of Southeast Missouri, 2536 Boutin Dr., Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
