John Edward Mosier

John Edward Mosier, 71 of Paducah, KY formerly of Scott City died April 1, 2014 at Nexus Specialty Hospital in Shenandoah, TX. He was born July 31, 1942 in East Prairie, MO to John Edgar and Thelma Lois Dean Mosier. He married Donna Faye Busby on July 28, 1966. Donna preceded him in death on December 17, 2001. He later married Freida LaVonne Busby Watson on May 12, 2007. John was a truck driver/mechanic. He was a member of Gospel Assembly in Anna, IL and the Teamsters Union Local 574 in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during Vietnam. He loved the Lord and his family. He is survived by his wife Freida of Paducah, KY; four sons, Johnny (Jennifer) Mosier of Scott City, Tony (Pam) Cagle of Cape Girardeau, MO; Grant (Beth) Cagle of Tracy, CA and Warren (Julie) Cagle of Benton, MO; a daughter, Tonya McFall of Jackson; a stepson, Samuel (Jennifer) Watson of Paducah, Ky; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ira Lee "Buddy" Mosier. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the chapel with Revs. Gaylen Holden and Denny Fitzsimmons officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau with full military honors. Memorial donations may be made to Gospel Assembly, 724 E Davie St., Anna,IL 62906 or Charity of your choice.
