Harold S. Wooldridge

Harold S. Wooldridge, 98 of Cape Girardeau formerly of Benton died April 6, 2014 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born January 31, 1916 in Mayfield, MO to Franklin S. and Olga J. Mayfield Wooldridge. He married Verla M. Mayfield on September 4, 1937 in Cape Girardeau, MO. Harold was a team leader for Sports Specialties and a Manager for Ludlow. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Benton, MO. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He is survived by his wife Verla of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Wooldridge; a brother and three sisters. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Tuesday at Unity Baptist Church in Benton, MO. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the church with Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Unity Baptist Cemetery.
