George Woodrow Hopper, Jr

George Woodrow Hopper, Jr., 57 of Commerce died April 29, 2014 at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born March 26, 1957 in Cape Girardeau, MO to George Woodrow and Laura Ina Hester Hopper, Sr. George worked for V.I. P. Industries and he was a member of Commerce Baptist Church in Commerce, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Elzena and Russell Hester and Earsy and Joel Hopper. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City and on Friday from 8:30 AM until the time of service at Commerce Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday at the church with Revs. David Thompson and Dan Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce.
