Raymond "Wesley" Gray, 55, of Scott City, died Saturday, May 3, 2014 at his home. He was born in St. Louis, Mo. on July 4, 1958, the son of Raymond Junior and Estella Josephine Biggs Gray. He married Bobbie Jean Moore on September 22, 1979. Wesley was a vocalist and drummer for the local band TUFA for about 20 years, starting in the mid 70's. He worked as crusher helper for Lonestar Industries, now known as Buzzi Unicem. He is survived by his wife; a son, Ryan (Emily Miller) Gray of Scott City; a daughter Kyla (Michael) Workman of Scott City; three grandchildren, Grayson, Molly and Makenzie; a brother Chad Gray of Scott City; two sisters, Patty (Rick) Minner of Scott City and Melissa McFall of Sedgewickville, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister. Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, Tuesday from 5-8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel with Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
