Jessie "Pauline" Collins, 74, of Scott City died Saturday, August 9, 2014, at the Monticello House in Jackson. She was born Nov. 23, 1939 at Randles, Mo., the daughter of Samuel Jefferson and Alfredia Marie Beklund Hitt. She married Richard Lee Collins on Sept. 25, 1959 at Ancell, Mo. Pauline worked as a bookkeeper at SuperValu in Scott City. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Commerce, Mo. Survivors include her husband; a son, Jeff Collins of Benton, Mo.; a daughter, Teri Collins of Jackson; three grandchildren, Todd Kaufmann of Mildenhal, England, Erika Bramer of Newport, RI, and Jordan Collins of Benton, Mo.; a great grandson, Adam Kaufmann of Mildenhal, England; three sisters, Essie Slinkard of Florissant, Mo., Melba Buckner and Marie Vetter, both of Scott City. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Amber Kaufmann. Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, Thursday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be at the chapel Friday at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Michael Woods will officiate. Interment will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
