Charlcie White

Charlcie Loretta White, 87 of Bethalto, IL formerly of Scott City, MO died October 5, 2014 at Bethalto Care Center in Bethalto, IL. She was born April 23, 1927 in Gideon, MO to William Reece and Edith Thiele Baker. She married Charles Patrick White on September 23, 1967 in Granite City, IL. He preceded her in death on May 22, 1998. Charlcie is survived by two daughters, Roxie A. White-Payne and her husband Robert Grant Payne of Cottage Hills, IL and Phyllis Jean Page Nieland of Wood River, IL; two grandchildren, Vicki L. Houston Williams and Kathleen Ann Nieland Davis; four great grandchildren, Robert Donovan Stovall, Nicole Danielle Williams, Zachary Davis and Alex Davis. She was preceded in death by five sisters, Wilma Baker, Gertrude Daniels, Paulene Davis, Delma Zacek and Darles Whitmer and two brothers, Emett "Bill" Baker and Billy Gene Baker. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until time of service on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the chapel with Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City, MO.
