Terry Lynn Groves

Terry Lynn Groves, 69 of Springville, TN formerly of Scott City died Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born September 24, 1945 in Wyatt, Missouri to George Wallace and Mattie Virginia Brashear Groves. He married Kathryn Ann McClendon on June 17, 1967 in Charleston, MO. He was a machine operator for Proctor & Gamble and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; two sons, Robert and David Groves of Scott City; a daughter, Terri Miller of Paris, TN; two brothers, J.L. Groves of Benton, MO and Richard Groves of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Dixie Brazis of O'Fallon, MO and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister. Friends and family will gather to honor Terry's life on Monday, October 20, 2014 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM at the VFW Post 6407 in Scott City.
