On Tuesday, October 21, 2014, Carrie Phillips Holder lost her long battle with her health peacefully surrounded by close friends and family members in her home where she wished to be. She was born on May 22, 1971 in Chaffee to Bill and Jewell Keller Phillips. She is survived by her husband, Randy Holder of Scott City; a daughter, Abbey (Zach) Holder of Scott City; a son Mitchell (Lexie) Holder of Benton; her parents, Barry & Jewell Hampton of Chaffee; brothers, Jamie (Aleisha) Welch and Andy (Kelsey) Welch both of Chaffee; half-brother, Zak (Jessica) Phillips of Chaffee; half-sister, Jessica Phillips of Chaffee; father-in-law and mother-in-law; Herb and Norma Holder; brother-in-law, Ron Holder of Scott City; nieces, Jayden Welch, Isabella Phillips and Lailah Phillips; nephews, Chase Welch, Traetyn Welch, Easton Welch, Bryce Pullen, Brennan Phillips and Cameron Phillips and many loving friends and supportive family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Phillips; her grandparents, Beatrice Keller and Imogene and Perry Phillips; a sister-in-law, Tracy Holder. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday at the chapel with Revs. Randy Morse and Ken Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City. Pallbearers will be Randy Cox, Mitchell Holder, Mike Jones, Ron Holder, Freddie Welter and Brad Thompson.
