Clyde Edward Maloney, age 71, of Chaffee, MO passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born on September 23, 1943 in Portageville, MO to the late Paul Edward and Myrtle Lee Gremard Maloney. Clyde married Lois Gore on June 11, 1966. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, MO. He worked as a diesel mechanic and was the shop manager at Tyson Food in Bloomfield, MO. Survivors include his wife, Lois of the home; two sons, Paul (Debra) Maloney of Yulee, FL, Brian (April) Maloney of Jackson, MO; one daughter, Melissa (Bryan) Kinder of Chaffee, MO; two grandchildren, Ethan and Mackenzie Maloney; two step grandchildren, Dawn Distler and Danny Lavallee; two brothers, Paul Maloney of Nashville, TN, Louis "Tony" Maloney of Cape Girardeau, MO; two sisters, Barbara Johnson, Shirley Grant both of Cape Girardeau, MO and an aunt, Louise Foulk of Cape Girardeau, MO. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Clay. Friends may call from 4-8p.m, Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO. Parish Prayers will be held at 4p.m. Funeral mass will be at 10a.m., Friday, October 31, 2014 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee with Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant. Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee with full military honors presented by the Missouri Honor Guard.
