Albert Jack Crader, age 83, of Jackson, MO passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born on July 8, 1931 in Allenville, MO to the late William Leo and Lenora Drennan Crader. Jack married Nelda Dalton on Jan. 21, 1955 in Morley, MO and she survives. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He attended the Church of God in Jackson, MO. Jack was a retired heavy equipment operator for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #513 and was a member of the union for 56 years. Survivors include his wife, Nelda of the home; one son, Kevin (Linda) Crader of Jackson, MO; three daughters, Mariesa (Tim) Lesch of Jackson, MO, Kim (Mike) Begley of Arbor, MO, Brandi (Dave) Farris of Jefferson City, MO; two brothers, Joe and David Crader both of Delta, MO; three sisters, Joan Surface of Rockview, MO, Linda Hale of Jackson, MO, Peggy Miles of Cape Girardeau, MO; five grandchildren, Kia Abernathy, Michael Borgfield, Nikki Hodges, Albert Jack Begley, Jon Steinnerd and six great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Don Crader and a sister, Kay Uhrhan. Friends may call after 4p.m., Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO. Funeral service will be at 10a.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the chapel with Rev. Alvie Surface officiating. Burial will follow in Hitt Cemetery near Arbor.
