Joel A. Niswonger

Joel Albert Niswonger, 53 of Scott City died November 20, 2014 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born January 23, 1961 in Cape Girardeau, MO to John Albert and Vivian Doris Eldridge Niswonger. He married Brenda Kay Davis on August 6, 1980. She preceded him in death on November 30, 1999. He was a self-employed plumber. He is survived by his father of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Trevor Niswonger and Christopher Niswonger of Scott City; a stepson, Scott Madderra of Scott City, MO; two sisters, Darlene Curran of Dale City, VA and Joan Durham of Cape Girardeau and five grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a grandchild. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 10:00 AM until time of memorial service at 11:00 AM at the 1St Assembly of God Church in Scott City, with Rev. Randy Morse officiating.
