Mary Alice Lynn-Bohn passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014 at her home in Scott City, with her family present. She was born October 15, 1927 in Ancell, Mo. , the only child of Peter and Ruby Sanford Rudy. In 1946, she married Charles W. Lynn, with whom she had four children. He preceded her in death in 1964. She later married Robert Bohn in 1965, with whom she had one child. She is survived by her children: Alice (Michael) Snell of Imperial, MO., Connie (Bud) Schmidt of Cape Girardeau, Marcia Adele of Scott City Mo., Charles Lynn of Euless, TX, and Tim (Michelle) Bohn of Dupo, Il. She leaves behind 8 grandchildren: Charles (Sarah) Stokes, Andrea (Kent) Menning, Gary (Lisa) Nickels, Jeff Nickels, Ryan (Stephanie) Lynn, Eric (Rebecca ) Lynn, Ethan Lynn and Grace Bohn. Also surviving are 12 great-grandchildren and 5 step children. Mary Alice loved to laugh and enjoyed being in the company of others. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, cards, camping, fishing, music, dancing, the St. Louis Cardinals, family gatherings and her faithful canine companion, Sally. She was employed by Parks College for the ten years prior to her retirement, where she enjoyed meeting aeronautical students from all over the world. Her door was always open to friends and neighbors. A special thanks to Southeast Hospice for their compassionate care, and to Ann Davis, who served as caregiver to assist the family. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service on Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at 2: 00 PM on Monday at the chapel with Rev. Robert Wright officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, MO.
