Ronnie "Bud" Ervin Owens 69, of Scott City died Sunday, November 30, 2014 at his home. He was born February 16, 1945 in Randles, MO to Charley Alvin and Mattie Cook Owens. He married Sue Nix on August 21, 1965. He worked at Florsheim and later at Major Custom Cable in Fruitland. He is survived by his wife; a son, Kerry ( Katrina) Owens of Cape Girardeau; five daugthers, Marty (Brian) Brown, Heather (Cletus) Glueck, Ashley (Gregory) Glueck, Kristen Owens and Emily Owens all of Scott City; two brothers, Jack (Shirley) Owens of Scott City and Mick (Barbara) Owens of Chaffee; a sister, Virginia (Val) Williams of Chaffee and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and a grandchild. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 Am Wednesday at the chapel with Revs. Larry Rouse and Jack Owens officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City, MO.
