Freda Almeta Mansker

Freda Almeta Mansker, 88, of Oran, MO passed away at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, MO on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. She was born on September 18, 1926 in Stoddard County, MO to the late William and Esther Kelso Friedrich. She retired as a machine operator at Oran Carbinding in Oran, MO. Freda was a member of Oran First Baptist Church in Oran. Survivors include five sons, Kenneth Mansker of Oran, MO, Jerry Mansker of Willisville, IL, Eula Mansker of Oran, MO, Glen Mansker of Scott City, MO, Michael Mansker of San Diego, CA; two daughters, Mary Williams of Morley, MO, Sharon Hodge of Marble Hill, MO; twenty two grandchildren, forty nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Ann Green; two brothers, Lawrence and Roy Friedrich; two sisters, Florence Baiter and Flora Hess and one half-brother, Franklin D. Reams. Friends may call after 5 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, MO. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the chapel with Rev. Don Estes officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Advance, MO. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
