Vera Lange

Lou Vera Lange, 86 of Scott City died Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born on October 22, 1928 in Scopus, MO to Fred and Mae Angle Schleinger. She married Willis E. "Shorty" Lange on Nov. 1, 1946 in Cape Girardeau, MO. He preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 1998. She was a Laundromat attendant at Service Four Inc. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Scott City and V.F.W. Ladies Aux. Post 6407 in Scott City. She is survived by three sons, Fred (Sherry) Lange of Burfordville, MO, Larry Lange of Scopus and Roy Lange of Scott City; three daughters-in-law, Vicki Lange, Dorothy Black and Tammy Sellers; seven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Willis Lange, Jr. and Wendel Lange; three brothers and a sister. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Saturday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at the chapel with Rev. Jeremy Sells officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City, MO.
