Helen Louise Cox, 90 of Kelso died Thursday, January 15, 2015 at her home. She was born June 16, 1924 to William Theodore and Emma Bertha Goetz Leible. She married Eugene Webster Cox on May 30, 1947 in Kelso, MO. He preceded her in death on June 10, 2008. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo; St. Ann's Sodality and V.F.W. Ladies Aux. Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau. She is survived by two sons, Rodney (Nancy) Cox of Marietta, GA and Randy Cox of Kelso, MO; two daughters, Jeanne Pruitt of Cape Girardeau and Janet (Jerry) Hahn of Kelso; a sister, Virginia Hovis of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Shari Smith, Kathryn Cundy and Clayton Cox and four great grandchildren, Ryan & Adam Smith and Jamie & Henry Cundy. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jim Pruitt; three brothers and three sisters. Visitation will be from 9:00 Am until the time of service on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the church with Rev. Oliver Clavin as celebrant Burial will be in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in Kelso. Memorials may be sent to St. Augustine Catholic Church or Southeast Hospice.
