Phillip Reeves

Phillip Wayne Reeves, age 54, of Chaffee, MO passed away peacefully at his mother's home with her by his side on Saturday, January 17, 2015. He was born on February 3, 1960 in Sikeston, MO to James and Mary Evelyn Long Reeves. Phillip worked as a mechanic and also later worked in the warehouse at Fisher Auto. Survivors include his father, James (Geraldine) Reeves of Matthews, MO; his mother, Evelyn Gossett of Chaffee, MO; a best friend and care giver, Michael Price of Chaffee, MO; four sisters, Marilyn Ritter of Chaffee, Leann Knuckles of Chaffee, Robin (Russell) Walker of New Madrid, MO, Gina (Chris) Archie of Canalou, MO; two nieces, DeAnn (Tim) Kirk of Chaffee, Kelley Ritter of Des Moines, IA; one nephew, Tyler (Amanda) Palmer of Chaffee; and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a step-father, Daniel Gossett and a brother in law, Billy Ritter. Friends may call after 4 p.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the chapel. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories in Sikeston, MO.
