Jane Minner

Jane Minner, 81, of Blodgett, Mo., passed away at her home, Saturday, January 24, 2015. She was born Jan. 16, 1934 at, Osceola, Ark., the daughter of Louis Franklin and Estie Lee Simpson Stowers. She had worked for the Kenny Rogers Cerebral Palsy Center in Sikeston for 20 years as a physical therapy supervisor. She is survived by; three sons, Jeff Minner of Blodgett, Ron Minner of Arnold, Mo. And Dennis Minner of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; a daughter, Susan Freed of Sikeston, Mo.; three brothers, Gary, Jim, and Al Stowers, all of Janesville, Wis.; a sister, Christine Bollinger of Blodgett; four grandchildren, Dennis Minner, Jr., Susan Beth Taylor, Bo Minner and Dalton Freed; four great grandchildren, Ally and Noah Taylor and Bella and Kinley Minner. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Louis Stowers and a sister Gladys Bechel. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8:00 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in Blodgett Cemetery.
