Randy Young

Randy Charles Young, 59 of Scott City passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born to Charles and Ruth Eaves Young on March 17, 1955. He married Karen Westrich on August 24, 1977. Randy worked in law enforcement from during 1978-1982 and 1984 - 1992. He is survived by his wife, Karen Young of Scott City; three daughters, Lori, Nyssa and Sara; a brother, Gary (Kay) Young of St. Charles; three nieces, great nieces great nephews, and an aunt. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2105 at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday at the chapel with Rev. Casey Elmore officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City. In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel to assist with funeral expenses.
