Hallie Mae Granville, age 82, of Morley, MO passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born on October 21, 1932 in Rector, AR to the late Irvin Wyatt and Allie Jane Smith Gibbs. She married Jack E. Granville on February 4, 1992 and he survives. Hallie was a retired owner and operator of the Morley Café in Morley and former mayor for the City of Morley. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morley; Auxillary of Morley VFW Post 5368; certified firefighter for the City of Morley Fire Department and she picked a lot of cotton in her day. Survivors include her husband Jack Granville of the home; three daughters, Catherine (Dennis) Konecny of Elkhart, IN, Carol (Rick) Stevens of Middlebury, IN, Connie (Charles) Cohen of Elkhart, IN; three sisters, Vergie Hall of West Mifflin, PA, Mary McArthur of Morley, MO, Nancy Tindall of Decatur, IL; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She was also preceded in death by one son, Richard L. Ravish; one brother, Irvin Gibbs Jr.; four sisters and one grandson, William Richard Schott. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. David Thompson officiating.
