Marjorie Sophia Bollinger (better known as Grandma Marge), 95 of Kelso died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born December 13, 1919 in Kelso, MO to John and Matilda Westendorf Ludwig. She married Lyman Joseph Bollinger on June 15, 1940 in Kelso. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1968. She was a cook at St. Joseph & St. Augustine Schools, 24 years she was cook Grandma Marge at Care-A-Lot retiring at age 90. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic church in Kelso, St. Ann's Sodality, Ladies Aux Knights of Columbus Council 6420 and Adorers of the Most Precious Blood of Christ Associates. She is survived by seven children; Karen (Justin) Elfrink, Sharon (Gerard) Schreckenberg, Charlotte Hogan, Steve (Susan) Bollinger, Margaret (Glen) Lawrence, Renee' (Rick) Aufdenberg and Keith (Jean) Bollinger; 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Matt Hogan; two brothers, Maurice Ludwig and Claude Ludwig and a sister, Maryn Bollinger. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso. Parish Prayers will be at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday at the church with Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery in Kelso. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to be made to St. Augustine Church or Birthright.
