Virginia Josephs Virginia "Ginny" May (Prass) Josephs, age 66, went peacefully to her eternal reward from her home, on Saturday, March 28, 2015, after fighting the good fight with her bone disease, fibrosis dysplasia, which she had since she was seven years old. She was born in St. Ann's Village (St. Louis) November 17, 1948. An avid reader, she could be seen walking with her crutch when she went to the Library to get books. She was President of the St. Joseph Credit Union in the 80's, was always smiling and cheerful. She was preceded in death by her father, William Prass and her only son, Christopher Josephs. Left to mourn her loss is her mother, Claire Prass, her sister, Frances Presswood (Harmon), and her brother Chuck, all of Scott City; and her brothers, Bill and Jim of California, along with her nieces and nephews. Ginny was greatly loved and she will be sorely missed also by her friends and neighbors, and all of her Church family at St. Joseph - Scott City. She will be remembered for her beauty of spirit, her kindness and thoughtfulness, especially at Christmas when she made her pumpkin bread and peanut brittle. Visitation will be from 5:00 -8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Parish Prayers will be at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 Am on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Scott City with Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating. In Lieu of flowers memorial may be sent to St. Joseph Council of Catholic Women or St. Francis Medical Center Cancer Fund.
