Mary Alice Tyler

Mary Alice Tyler, 83 of Advance formerly of Scott City died Monday, April 6, 2015 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born August 9, 1931 in Illmo, MO to Ernest Clayton and Jennie Christina Sanders Tyler. She was a machine operator for Florsheim Shoe Factory and was a member of Church on the Rock in Morehouse, MO. She is survived by four brothers, Thomas (June) Tyler of Mesquite, TX, James (Barbara) Tyler of Chaffee, MO, Robert (Sue) Tyler of Scott City and Michael (Glyndia) Tyler of Columbus, MS; two nieces, Patricia Onstad and Sabrina Pobst; seven nephews, Kevin, David and Jimmy Hill, Timothy, Clint, Keith and Shaun Tyler and her caregiver and friend Cindi Phelps. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ada Hill and two nephews, John Hill and Kelly Tyler. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Amick-Burnett chapel in Scott City. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday at the chapel. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
