Norman L. Morrill, age 80, of Oran, MO passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the family home. He was born on November 28, 1934 in Illmo, MO to the late Walter and Mildred Davis Morrill. He married Catherine D. Held on March 3, 1956 and she survives. Norman was a Charter member of the Local #1104 International Labor Union in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was a member of the Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City, MO. Survivors include his wife, Catherine of the home; one son, Keith Morrill of Advance, MO; two daughters, Pam (Kelly) Kyle of Oran, Nicole (James) Stephens of Marble Hill, MO; one brother, Larry (Linda) Morrill of Scott City, MO; two sisters, Joann Slinkard of Scott City, MO, Thelma (Harold) McCormick of Marble Hill, MO; six grandchildren, Kraig (Jin) Kyle of Stanford, CT, Kara (Nathan) Dirnberger of Benton, MO, Klayton (Kelsey) Kyle of Oran, MO, Karson Morrill of Advance, MO, Kollin Morrill of Advance, MO, Kirsten Stephens of Marble Hill, MO; five great grandchildren, Kailee, Liam and Cooper Kyle, Tucker and Saylor Dirnberger. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and one grandson Konner Stephens. Friends may call after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, MO. Visitation will resume at 9 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015 until the time of service at the Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City, MO. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the church with Pastor Marty Hasz officiating. Burial will follow at the Eisleben Lutheran Church Cemetery in Scott City, MO.
