Mary Harriett Quade

Mary Harriett Quade, age 87, of Red Bud, IL formerly of Chaffee, MO passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Red Bud Regional Care Center in Red Bud, IL. She was born on June 22, 1927 in Jackson, MO to the late John Albert and Artie Jane Godwin McGuire. She married Lloyd H. Quade Sr. on December 26, 1948 and he preceded her in death on September 2, 1982. Mary was a retired self-employed hair stylist. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Country CB'ers, Chaffee American Legion Ladies Aux Post #389 and Chaffee V.F.W. Ladies Aux Post #3127. Survivors include a special friend, Lawrence Piel of Red Bud, IL; one son, Ronald Quade of Waterloo, IL; one daughter, Becky Lilly of Scott City, MO; two grandchildren, Karla White and Charlie Lilly both of Scott City, MO, and one brother, Harry McGuire of GA. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Schaefer; and a son Butch Quade. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 11a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO. Graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau, MO with Rev. Matt Buttrum officiating.
