Kelsey Claude Kelley, 89 of Gordonville died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born October 31, 1925 in Lawrenceburg, TN to Benjamin and Melissa Spears Kelley. He married Frieda Clark in January 1952 in Piggott, AR. He farmed on the family farm until 1968 and then started Kelley's Waterproofing and had a successful career until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of VFW in Jackson, a veteran of the Army Air Corp serving during WW II and was stationed in the Philippines. He is survived by his wife Frieda; a son, Larry Kelley of Daisy, MO; a daughter, Carolyn (Edward) Eftink of High Ridge, MO; three granddaughters, Jennifer (Andrew) Baronovic, Kimberley (Pedro) Minakata and Beth Ann Eftink and two great grandchildren, Sam and Kelsey Minakata. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and a sister. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday at the chapel with Rev. Charles Lance officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau with full military honors.
