Glenn Ray Davis, age 71, of Morley, MO formerly of Oran, MO passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the family home in Morley, MO. He was born on March 6, 1944 in Oran, MO to the late Dick and Mary Emley Buell Davis. Glenn served in the United States Army and was a retired self-employed construction worker. Survivors include his soul mate, Erma Wagoner of Morley, MO; one son, Rodney Davis of Oran, MO; one daughter, Nancy Trentham of Cordova, TN; four grandchildren, Rhett, Bethani and Alexis Davis all of Oran, MO, Jackson Trentham of Cordova, TN; one brother, Bill Davis of Valrico, FL; a special nephew, Cody Trankler of IL; four sisters, Peggy Lape of Chaffee, MO, Lavern Warren of Kansas City, MO, Jane Swain of Chaffee, MO and Janice Eller of Karnak, IL. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, James and Leon Davis and two sisters, Mary Lou Penhale and Sue Hagen. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, MO. Funeral service will be held at noon, Saturday at the chapel with Rev. Eugene Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley with full military honors presented by the Missouri Honor Guard.
