Joann Dennison

JoAnn Dennison, age 78, of Elsberry, Missouri formerly of Chaffee, Missouri passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Elsberry Health Care Center in Elsberry. She was born on January 19, 1937 in Chaffee, Missouri to the late William Henry and Mandy Cook McClain. She married Charles Dennison and he survives. JoAnn was a cook at a nursing home and did janitorial maintenance at Plastenines Manufacturing in Portageville. She is of the Pentecostal faith. She is survived by her husband, Charles of Sikeston, Missouri; three sons, Gary (Carol) and Larry (Terri) Dennison both of Troy, Missouri, Terry Dennison of Portageville, Missouri; one daughter, Tonya Morefield of Portageville, Missouri; one brother, Delmer McClain of Chaffee, Missouri and eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. JoAnn was also preceded in death by one son, Bryan Forrester and one sister, Peggy Barlow. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at chapel with Rev. Robert Poe officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery near Arbor, Missouri.
