Billie Ray

Maria Yvonne "Billie" Ray was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on July 24, 1951. She entered Heaven's gate at the age of 63 on the 4th of July, 2015 with her children and loved ones surrounding her. Billie was one of two children born to the late Bill and Grace Fitchpatrick. She is survived by her brother, Markel C. Fitchpatrick of Blodgett, Missouri. She was the mother of four children - Preston "Butch" and B.J. Price, Tracy and Janelle Price, Audra and Bradley Hayden and Kelly and Carl Breedlove all of Benton, Missouri. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Billie lived most of her life in the small community of Benton and worked for VNA for twenty plus years. She loved to fish, plant flowers, collect anything with a pig on it and never turned away a stray animal. She is survived by three faithful dogs - Fred, Willie and Lola. And she was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Friends and neighbors can join the family members in celebrating Billie's life at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, Missouri from 5:00 to 8:00 on Tuesday for visitation. The final farewell for Billie will be at 10:00 on Wednesday morning at the funeral chapel. Pall bearers will be Tracy Price, Ben Riley, Mark Fitchpatrick, Jr., Torie Price, Gavin Price, Jacob Price, Trey Crader, John Crone, Jordan Crone, Madison Hayden and Bailie Chidester. Her final resting place will be at the Blodgett Cemetery in Blodgett, Missouri. The family would like to extend a thank you to all that helped with Billie. And a very special thank you to her long time friend, Linda Smith, for being there not only for Billie but for the family as well
