Michael Wayne Green, age 46, of Oran, Missouri passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born on July 14, 1969 in Kokomo, Indiana to Richard and Shirley Tinsley Green. Michael married Joie Tomlin on December 21, 1991 and she survives. He worked as a maintenance man for the City of Morley, Missouri. He was a volunteer fireman, first responder and a t-ball coach at Morley. Survivors include his wife, Joie Green of the home; his mother, Shirley (Kenneth) Hopper of Oran, Missouri; one son, Joseph Michael Green of Cumberland, Rhode Island; one daughter, Ashleigh Nicole Green of Jackson, Tennessee; two brothers, Todd Gregory of East Prairie, Missouri, Bill (Jennifer) Green of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; one sister, Teresa (Ralph) Hicks of Oran, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Jennifer Rush of Sikeston, Missouri; one grandchild on the way, Nora Leigh Kennemore; nine nephews and nieces, Freddie "Ralph" Hicks III, Brandy Minner, Jessica Hicks, Ethan Gregory, Cameron Green, Austin Gregory, Morgan Green, Ella Grace Rush, Easton James Rush; two great nieces, Brooklyn Minner and Adalynn McDowell. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Richard Green; one sister, Sherry Gregory and one brother, Chuck Gregory. Friends may call after 4 p.m., Monday, July 20, 2015 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Missouri. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the chapel with Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will follow at New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.
