James Truman "Jim" Senciboy Sr., age 66, of Perkins, Missouri passed away after a 15 month battle with lung cancer on Sunday, August 23, 2015. Jim was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on October 1, 1948. He was the first of three sons to Truman and Christine Ann Scheffer Senciboy. Jim was a veteran of the United States Army and participated in action during the Vietnam War. His bravery during the Vietnam War earned him five Metals of Honor. He returned from war and married his high school sweetheart, Doris Ann Seabaugh on April 24, 1971. He enjoyed farming with his father for many years. Jim was the Sales Manager for Griffin Enterprises in Advance, Missouri for the past 28 years. Jim leaves behind his wife, Doris Ann Senciboy of Perkins, Missouri; daughter, Dr. Donna Nicole Senciboy of St. Louis, Missouri and two brothers, Bill Senciboy of Perkins, Missouri and Tom Senciboy of Oran, Missouri. Jim was preceded in death by his son, James Truman Senciboy Jr.; parents, Truman and Christine Senciboy; and a sister-in-law, Rita Senciboy. Friends may call after 4 p.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Missouri. Parish prayers will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, Missouri with Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant. Burial will follow at Williams Cemetery in Perkins, Missouri with full military honors presented by the Missouri Honor Guard.
