Tom Dees

Thomas Avery "Tom" Dees, 52 of Scott City, died Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at his Home. He was born March 31, 1963 at Chaffee, MO the son of Avery Claude and Dorothy Ann Halter Dees. He and Jane Renee Dunlap were married on May 11, 2008 at Scott City. Tom was a fork lift operator with Excel at Proctor and Gamble. He was raised in the Catholic Faith as a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include his Wife Janie Dees; his mother Dorothy Dees of Scott City; two sons, Adam and Matt Dees, both of Scott City; a step son Tyler Cossiboom of Scott City; a step daughter Krystal Enderle of Cape Girardeau; a grandson Bentley Dees; two brothers, Larry (Melba) Dees of Springfield, MO and Anthony (Wanda) Dees of Marble Hill, MO; three sisters, Diane (Tracy Welch) Scholl and Joyce (Jim) Cliff, both of Scott City and Debbie (Gary) Burford of Benton. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Gary Dees. Friends may call Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at the chapel Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.'s Rennie Phillips and Joe Weidenbenner officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
