Robert George Lange

Robert George Lange, age 84, of Oran, MO passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Capetown in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born in North Star, Ohio on January 28, 1931 to the late George and Margaret Gelhaus Lange. He married Dolores E. Huelskamp on November 17, 1951 and she survives. Robert was a self-employed farmer and founder of Langco Tool & Plastics in Oran, Missouri. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee. Survivors include his wife, Dolores, of the home; four sons, Jerry (Kaye) Lange of Oran, Missouri, David (Lanell) Lange of Randles, Missouri, Charles (Vicki) Lange of Marston, Missouri, Bill (Lana) Lange of Advance, Missouri; five daughters, Diane (Carl) Muecke of Knippa, Texas, Nancy Bell of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Lisa (Steve) Crippen of Chaffee, Missouri, Julie (Russell) Read of Atlanta, Georgia, Joan Ford of Atlanta, Georgia; one brother, Arthur Lange of Washington; twenty six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one son, Ronald C. Lang; two brothers and three sisters. Friends may call after 4 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2015 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Missouri. Parish Prayers will be held at 5 p.m. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 24, 2015 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee with Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant. Burial will follow at Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery in Oran, MO. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either St. Ambrose Catholic School or Guardian Angel Catholic School.
