He was born in Chaffee, Missouri on March 28, 1940 to the late Aubrey and Mary White Dennis.
Robert was a veteran of the United States Marines.
He was a retired bricklayer.
Survivors include one son Robert Dennis of Bourbon, MO; a daughter, Becky Roberts of Eureka, MO; a brother, Charles Dennis of Festus, MO; a sister, Marilyn Dohogne of Cape Girardeau, MO; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Friends may call after 1 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Missouri.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., followed by full military honors at Union Park Cemetery presented by the Missouri Honor Guard.
