He was born on June 21, 1941 in Wayne Co., IL to the late Chester and Margie Shaw Wiggins. He married Elizabeth Jane Murray on January 21, 1961 and she preceded him in death with him right by her side, after 51 years of marriage, on August 10, 2012.
Lendy was a member of the Allenville Baptist Church in Allenville, MO. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed nothing more than setting records with his enormous catfish. He worked as a contractor and owned and operated LWW Contractors.
Survivors include four daughters; two brothers; three sisters; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a sister and a granddaughter.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday, January 6, 2015 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., at the chapel with Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating.
Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery near Arbor, MO.
