Cathy Moran

Catherine “Cathy” Lucille Moran, 57, of Kelso, died on Tuesday Jan. 19 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 31, 1958 in Cape Girardeau to the late Albert and Edna Job Schabbing. She married David Moran on July 11, 1981. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2012 Cathy was a neonatal intensive care nurse for over 30 years. She is survived by a daughter, Heather (Michael) Gurnow of Jackson; four siblings, Larry Schabbing of Metropolis, IL; Judy Menz of Sikeston, MO; Barbara Diebold, of Kelso, MO and Patricia Baker of Cape Girardeau.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 pm on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, MO. Parish prayers will be at 6.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Friday, January 22, 2016 at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso with Rev. Joe Weidenbenner as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in Kelso.
