Berniece Pobst

Berniece Bonneda Pobst age 92 of Oran, MO passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born on December 2, 1923 in Advance, MO to the Late Charley Herman and Lottie Florence Wolf Gluckhertz. Berniece married Harold Stephen Pobst on September 27, 1941 and he preceded her in death on June 14, 2015.

She was a stitcher for 22 years when she retired from International Hat Factory in Oran. She is a member of the Guradian Angel Catholic Church, St. Ann Sodality and Knights of Columbus Council #4311 KC Ettes all of Oran.

She is survived by a son, Terry (Rose) Pobst of Oran; three daughters, Beverly (Michael) Grojean of Manchester, MO, Marsha Norman of Cape Girardeau and Gina Caudill of Winchester, VA; 16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.

Berniece was also preceded in death by a son, Ron Pobst; a sister, Eula Sanders; a grandson and two great grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5:00 pm Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Oran. Parish Rosary will be at 7:00 pm follow by K.C Prayers.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Friday, January 29, 2016 at Guardian Angel Catholic Church with Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant.

Burial will be in Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery in Oran.

In lieu of flowers family would like memorials made to the Guardian Angel Catholic School.
