Norma Louise Estes

On the morning of February 13, 2016, Norma Louise Estes 82, of Scott City, passed away peacefully in her home and joined the angels in heaven.

Norma was born on November 30, 1933 in Ancell, Mo., the daughter of Elva and Martha Ellen Lampkins Brant. She married Donald Estes on September 15, 1980 and he passed away, February 22, 2011.

Norma is survived by two daughters, JoEllen (Larry) Calhoun of Scott City and Debbie (Scott) Graham of Jackson; and a son Tracey (Elaine) Estes of Scott City; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Norma was preceded in death by a son Johnny Kelley; a daughter Cheryl Talley; a granddaughter Brittany Jo Calhoun; 3 brothers and a sister.

Norma’s unwavering strength came from the unity of her family and her unconditional love for them. Some of her favorite things included angels, family traditions and Christmas. Every year she had to have a big tree and lots of presents for her loved ones, especially the babies.
