Charles Allen Mcclain

Charles Allen McClain, 69, of Oran, died February 14, 2016 at Miner Nursing Center

He was born November 26, 1946, in Chaffee, son to the Late Myrtle May Hubbard and Millard Allen McClain.

Charles retired as a Lacer with Florsheim Shoe factory in Cape Girardeau.

He had battled cancer for over 3 years. He fell and broke his hip and was in the hospital for 9 days and in the nursing home for 3 days, but he gave his heart to Jesus and he is at home in heaven.

Charles is survived by a brother, Bennie McClain of Oran; 4 sisters, Audria Hosentfeld of Oran; Linda Cole of East Prairie; Doris Baker of Brookport IL; Darlene Brooks of Oran.

He was also preceded in death by, 2 brothers Doyle Gene and Andie McClain.

Friends may call at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran from 9:30 to 11:30 am, Wednesday, February 17, 2016

Graveside Service will follow at Fairview Cemetery near Arbor, with the Rev. Brian Flannigan.
